Learning and Development Advisor

We are recruiting for a new Learning and Development role with our client in Norwich. The Learning & Development Advisor supports the Talent Development Manager and the role combines advisory responsibility with hands-on delivery, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to design, deliver, coordinate, and continuously improve learning solutions that meet operational and compliance needs.

In the role you will:

  • Support the Talent Development Manager in developing, improving, and embedding L&D systems, processes, and procedures to ensure effective delivery aligned to business priorities.
  • Contribute to learning needs analysis to identify skills gaps, inform L&D priorities, and shape programme roadmaps.
  • Support governance of the learning content library, ensuring all materials are regularly reviewed, updated, and remain relevant.
  • Stay informed on emerging L&D trends, tools, and technologies, making recommendations to enhance learning delivery and impact.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate learning solutions across the organisation, with particular focus on manufacturing and operational environments.
  • Manage the LMS, including:
    • Publishing course information and maintaining accurate content
    • Coordinating bookings, communications, and notifications
    • Supporting system users and resolving access issue
    • Monitor, evaluate, and report on L&D activity, providing accurate data analysis and regular reports to stakeholders.
    • Ensure all learning events are effectively coordinated, including scheduling dates, booking delegates, confirming venues, and preparing materials.

What we need from you:

  • Ideally and degree or equivalent in HR or related subject
  • Relevant vocational qualification (e.g., BTEC or equivalent) in Training or related experience training in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Experience using eLearning software
  • Ability to write or maintain reports, and have analytical abilities to interpret data and trends
  • Previous experience of delivering training
  • Excellent communication skills
