Part-Qualified Management Accountant

£35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Finance Controller, the role will support the production of financial information and provide insight to assist business decision-making.

This position is suited to someone progressing through professional qualifications who is looking to build experience in management accounting within an industry setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
• Support the delivery of monthly reporting packs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
• Contribute to variance analysis, identifying key movements and trends
• Assist with audit processes and maintain appropriate financial controls
• Provide financial data and analysis to support operational teams
• Prepare reports for non-finance stakeholders where required
• Support and collaborate with junior team members where appropriate

Skills & Experience Required

• Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Approximately 2–4 years’ experience in a finance role, preferably within industry
• Good understanding of core accounting principles
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Analytical approach with good attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-finance colleagues
• Experience with accounting systems such as Business Central, Oracle, or similar is beneficial
• Well organised with the ability to manage deadlines
