Harkaye Core Talent is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm for a Claimant Personal Injury Solicitor to join their growing team based in Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated solicitor looking to handle a varied claimant PI caseload within a supportive and flexible working environment. The Opportunity

You will manage your own portfolio of claimant personal injury matters, predominantly Employer Liability and Public Liability claims, alongside some RTA and disease work. The role will involve handling cases from initial instruction through to settlement while ensuring excellent client care throughout the process.

This position would suit a confident and proactive individual who is comfortable managing files independently and enjoys working within a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of pre- and post-litigated EL/PL and RTA matters
  • Progressing claims from inception through to settlement
  • Drafting legal documentation including witness statements, schedules of loss, and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, medical professionals, counsel, and third parties
  • Reviewing liability, quantum, and evidential issues
  • Conducting legal research and remaining up to date with developments in personal injury law
  • Delivering high standards of client service and maintaining regular communication throughout cases
  • Working towards individual and team performance targets

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 1–7 years PQE or equivalent experience
  • Strong litigation experience within claimant personal injury matters
  • Experience handling EL and PL claims is highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of the MOJ Pre-Action Protocol and Civil Procedure Rules
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure
