Assistant Client Manager - Independent Accountancy Practice

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and supportive accountancy practice in the recruitment of an Assistant Client Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA part-qualified professional looking to broaden their experience across multiple service lines while progressing towards managing their own client portfolio. The firm offers strong long-term development within a friendly collaborative environment with excellent staff retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts and management accounts
• Prepare VAT returns and respond to client queries
• Assist with personal tax returns and tax computations
• Support senior team members across a varied client portfolio
• Assist on audit assignments from planning through to completion
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to a high standard of service
• Work across a range of sectors and service lines to develop technical experience

Key Requirements

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified (AAT qualified and starting ACA/ACCA beneficial)
• Experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Confident communicator with strong client-facing skills
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Team player with a proactive and positive approach
• Experience with IRIS, Xero, and Sage (FreeAgent beneficial)
