Academics Ltd are partnering with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Swindon that is seeking dedicated individuals to support students with complex needs. You will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them engage with learning and feel safe, supported, and understood.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students with complex needs.
• Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
• Build trusting relationships to help pupils feel secure and confident.
• Support teaching staff in delivering personalised learning activities.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organised with strong attention to detail.
• Calm, resilient, and able to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
• Holds a clean and up-to-date DBS check or is willing to obtain one.
