We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in the Bristol/Somerset area, who are recruiting for a Property Inspectoron a Three-Month Temporary basis. The hourly rate of pay for this position is £40 per hour via an Umbrella Company. This role is home-based with milage covered on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have surveying experience in a Social Housing group related to damp and mould, voids, and repairs maintenance. Additionally, proven experience of liaising with external and internal stakeholders in relation to domestic housing repairs is advantageous.

Please note that you will require access to your own vehicle for this position.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out pre and post inspections on responsive and void repairs
• Producing specifications of works using NHF Schedule of Rates
• Managing contractor performance and monitoring quality of works
• Supporting landlord compliance across gas, electrical, asbestos, water hygiene and fire safety
• Overseeing damp and mould cases through to completion
• Conducting mutual exchange inspections and void handovers
• Ensuring compliance documentation and housing records are accurately maintained

Experience required:

• Proven experience of working in Social Housing in a surveying context
• Relevant experience working within Voids, Repairs Maintenance, and Damp and Mould
• Experience of adhering to relevant compliance regulations within the Social Housing sector

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday
