Job Purpose

We are recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Tenders to join our new vibrant team in Tamworth. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a friendly, polite and welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve preparing and serving drinks, assisting in serving food, maintaining cleanliness and contributing to creating a positive experience for our guests.

Main Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic including cocktails, wines and soft drinks
• Assist in serving food
• Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Engage with customers, taking orders efficiently and providing recommendations based on preferences.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
• Operate EPOS Till system
• Assist in restocking supplies and inventory management as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure a seamless service
• Adhoc duties as requested by Management

Experience

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred but not essential
• Strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is advantageous.
• A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
