This is a high impact Senior Data Analyst role where your insights will directly shape how customers are engaged, retained, and understood at scale. Rather than focusing on reporting alone, this position is about uncovering behavioural signals, building meaningful player cohorts, and influencing commercial and digital decision making across a complex consumer environment.

The Role
You will sit within a specialist player analytics team, partnering closely with digital, product, and commercial leaders. Your work will focus on deep analysis rather than routine dashboarding, helping the business understand behaviour and identify opportunities others might miss.
Key responsibilities include:

• Leading ad hoc analysis across transactional, behavioural, and digital journey data
• Building and optimising customer cohorts to improve targeting, engagement, and retention
• Quantifying the value of product and marketing initiatives to support prioritisation decisions
• Translating complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
• Acting as a thought partner, challenging assumptions and anticipating the next question
• Supporting a test and learn culture through hypothesis design, experimentation, and measurement

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience in data analytics within a consumer focused digital environment
• Advanced SQL capability and experience analysing large, complex datasets
• Practical experience using Python or R for deeper analytical work
• Proven strength in segmentation, clustering, and cohort analysis
• Experience working with digital analytics and experimentation platforms
• Confidence influencing senior stakeholders through clear data storytelling
• Comfort working autonomously in ambiguous problem spaces
