We are seeking a dedicated Y3 Teacher for a maternity cover position in a supportive and friendly school environment in Morecambe. This part-time role is ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers looking for a good work/life balance. The position includes teaching on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with pro-rata PPA time.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 3 students.
• Plan and prepare lessons including PPA activities in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote student improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Participate in school events and activities.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching at the primary level, specifically Year 3, is preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
