Karter Thomas is currently recruiting three experienced Anti-Social Behaviour Officers on behalf of a housing client, covering North, South, and West London.

This is a short-term contract (approx. 2 months) requiring immediate availability, offering a great opportunity to step into a fast-paced, operational role with a strong focus on community safety and tenancy sustainment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and tenancy breach cases, delivering a victim centred, proportionate response from initial report through to resolution.

Working across your designated patch, you will balance early intervention, support, and enforcement, ensuring residents feel safe and protected within their communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ASB cases end-to-end in line with legislation, policy, and best practice
• Investigate reports of nuisance, harassment, domestic abuse, and hate incidents
• Carry out risk assessments and develop action plans with residents
• Gather and record evidence to a standard suitable for legal action
• Take appropriate enforcement action where required (warnings, injunctions, possession)
• Work with Police, local authorities, and partner agencies to resolve complex cases
• Maintain accurate case records and meet performance targets
• Support vulnerable residents through safeguarding referrals and partnership working

Working Pattern

• Hybrid working:
• 1 day per week working from home
• Remaining time split between patch visits and office presence
• Roles available across:
• North London
• South London
• West London

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in ASB or housing case management
• Strong knowledge of housing legislation, ASB, and safeguarding
• Proven experience managing complex and sensitive cases
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and partnership working skills
• Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Immediate availability
