Originally founded in Norway, the business has built a strong reputation for doing things differently, creating an environment where people are trusted, supported and encouraged to develop long-term careers.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking to appoint an HR Advisor to join their Manchester team on a permanent part-time basis, working 3-4 days per week from their Spinningfields office. This is a varied, hands-on role offering real autonomy, exposure across the business and the opportunity to work closely with experienced leaders within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical and commercially focused advice.
  • Support managers with employee relations matters including performance, conduct, absence, flexible working requests and change processes.
  • Manage ER cases from start to finish, including investigations and hearings where required.
  • Support employee lifecycle activity including OH referrals, exit interviews and annual people processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR data, reporting and documentation.
  • Contribute to HR policy, process improvement and wider people initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement activity including EDI and CSR initiatives.
  • Assist with internal communications, HR projects and general HR administration.
  • Embrace technology and AI to improve efficiency and ways of working.

What we are looking for:

  • CIPD qualified, with Level 7 strongly preferred.
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge.
  • Previous experience within a generalist HR Advisory role.
  • Confident managing a varied ER caseload independently.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong Microsoft and HR systems skills.

Benefits of the HR Advisor:

  • Excellent salary plus comprehensive benefits package.
  • Annual performance-related reward.
  • Excellent pension scheme.
  • Private medical insurance including cashback scheme.
  • Hybrid working opportunities after probation.
  • 25 days holiday plus your birthday off.
  • Paid wellbeing days.
  • Enhanced family-friendly policies.
  • Career development support and training programmes.
  • Employee assistance programme, life insurance and additional lifestyle benefits.

Our client offers a supportive “One Team” culture where employees are genuinely valued and encouraged to develop their careers.
