Job Title: RTR Accountant - Intercompany (12-Month FTC)
Location: Salford (Hybrid - 1-2 days in office)
Salary: Up to £45,000

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced RTR Accountant to join a high-performing finance function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role sits within the Record-to-Report (RTR) team, focusing on intercompany accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage intercompany accounting processes, including journals, reconciliations, and balance matching
  • Ensure timely month-end close activities in line with reporting deadlines
  • Investigate and resolve intercompany differences across multiple entities
  • Collaborate with finance teams, treasury, and shared services to improve processes
  • Support VAT and tax compliance relating to intercompany transactions
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline workflows
  • Assist with audit requirements, providing supporting documentation and analysis
  • Contribute to system testing and process documentation where required

Key Requirements

  • (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in intercompany accounting within an RTR environment
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or similar preferred)
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

Desirable

  • Experience in a shared service or high-volume environment
  • Exposure to process improvement or transformation projects

Working Pattern

  • Hybrid working: 1-2 days per week in the Salford office
