English Teacher (Secondary) - Coventry & Warwickshire - Temporary Positions | Immediate Start & September 2026

We are currently recruiting qualified English Teachers to work across a range of secondary schools in Coventry and Warwickshire. These roles are ideal for talented educators seeking flexible temporary opportunities, with immediate starts (before the end of the current academic year) as well as positions available from September 2026.

The Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons across KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
• Proven UK secondary school teaching experience
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature
• Ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
