What We're Looking For:

Significant commercial experience building and supporting complex software systems (typically 10+ years)
Strong expertise in core Java
Deep understanding of concurrent programming and parallel execution
Background in developing high-performance pricing or trading platforms on Linux
Proven experience with performance analysis, profiling, and optimisation

Nice to Have:

Exposure to electronic FX or similar low-latency environments, including memory-efficient / GC-conscious systems
Familiarity with financial market protocols (e.g. FIX-style or binary encodings)
Experience designing resilient, highly available distributed systems
Knowledge of low-latency messaging frameworks
