SEN Teaching Assistants Required – Secondary SEN School (Redhill)

We are currently recruiting experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to support a well-established secondary SEN school in Redhill. This setting provides specialist support to students with a range of additional needs, and we are looking for dedicated, reliable individuals who can make a real difference.

Roles Available

• Full-time SEN Teaching Assistants (Monday–Friday)
• Day-to-day cover staff for sickness and short-term absences
• Opportunities for long-term placements starting ASAP

Working Hours (Full-Time)

• Total: 40 hours per week
• Start time: 8:15am
• Finish times:
  
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 4:45pm
  • Tuesday: 5:00pm
  • Friday: 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs

Requirements (Essential)

• Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant
• Strong understanding of supporting students with additional needs
• A patient, resilient, and proactive approach
• Ability to adapt to different situations and student needs
