  • PAYE: £20.88 per hour
  • Umbrella: £26.44 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced PCN Appeals Officer to join a busy Local Authority in Wembley. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with proven experience handling parking appeals, particularly with London Tribunals (ETA).

You will play a key role in investigating appeals, preparing evidence packs, and representing the Council professionally at hearings where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and respond to Parking (PCN) Appeals
  • Prepare high-quality evidence packs for London Tribunals (ETA) in line with deadlines and standards
  • Ensure all cases are processed within the specified evidence due dates
  • Review representations and make informed decisions to accept or reject appeals
  • Draft and issue formal decision letters
  • Attend personal appeal hearings where required, representing the Council with professionalism and diplomacy

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience processing PCN appeals and evidence packs
  • Strong knowledge of traffic and parking legislation
  • Experience working with London Tribunals (ETA) processes
  • High level of proficiency in case management and word processing systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with the ability to manage hearings professionally

Working Pattern

  • Hybrid role: 3 days per week in the Civic Centre, 2 days working from home
  • Initial training: Required onsite at the Civic Centre full-time
