Transport Supervisor

• Working Hours: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM

We are seeking a dedicated Transport Supervisor to join our team in the Transport Logistics sector. This role is ideal for someone with at least a year's experience in a similar position, looking to advance their career in transport management.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the daily operations of 13 vehicles, ensuring efficient and effective management.
• Monitor and manage the scheduling and routing of vehicles to optimise service delivery and minimise costs.
• Ensure compliance with transport policies, legislation, and procedures.
• Supervise, train, and support team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular vehicle checks and coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure all vehicles are safe and roadworthy.
• Handle any logistical issues that arise, implementing quick and effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, incidents, and maintenance for reporting purposes.
• Communicate effectively with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in a transport supervisory role.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in using transport management systems.
