EYFS Teacher – Reception Class (2-Form Entry)

We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive 2-form entry primary school in Colchester who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to lead a Reception class from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years teacher who is committed to delivering the EYFS curriculum in a nurturing, engaging, and child-centred environment.

The Role:

• Full-time Reception class teacher
• Based in a 2-form entry primary school
• Planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum
• Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Working collaboratively with the parallel Reception teacher, EYFS team, and leadership
• Supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing during this crucial early stage

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching in EYFS, ideally Reception
• Demonstrate a strong passion for the Early Years curriculum
• Be creative, nurturing, and child-focused in their teaching approach
• Have strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
• Work effectively as part of a team in a 2-form entry setting
