Senior Stock & Warehouse Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Stock & Warehouse Coordinator to join our client’s operations team based in Harlow. Our client is a well-established, world-leading manufacturer and supplier with a strong global presence and a long-standing reputation for quality and innovation.

They are seeking a proactive, hands-on individual who can work on their own initiative, take ownership of stock management and warehouse logistics, and maintain high operational standards. Working within a small team, you will play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently at all times.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday-Friday and offers an attractive salary of £28,000-£30,000 DOE. Candidates must have strong warehousing and stock management experience and be able to work on their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing stock control processes including counting, inspection, labelling, and accurate storage
  • Overseeing warehouse logistics to ensure efficient flow of goods in and out of the facility
  • Taking ownership of rejected stock, including fault identification, documentation, and processing
  • Organising and optimising warehouse layout and storage systems for maximum efficiency
  • Conducting racking and site inspections to maintain safe storage practices
  • Restacking and organising pallets to ensure effective use of racking systems
  • Monitoring inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and responding to stock queries
  • Maintaining high standards of warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety
  • Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Supporting the development and implementation of returns and rejection procedures
  • Driving continuous improvement across warehouse and stock handling processes
  • Providing cover for workshop duties during holidays or absences when required
  • Carrying out minor stock corrections where appropriate
  • Assisting with the design and assembly of storage and shipping crates
  • Performing routine forklift checks and basic facility maintenance tasks
  • Managing stock rotation and replenishment from overflow locations

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock control, or logistics required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify faults and discrepancies
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
  • Basic IT skills for stock control systems and data entry
  • Ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well as collaboratively within a small team
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Reliable, proactive, and confident in taking ownership of responsibilities
  • A problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
