We are currently recruiting a buyers to join a well-established manufacturing site in Eastbourne on an initial 12-month temporary assignment. For the right candidates, there is the potential to move into a permanent role after six months.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive procurement team, contributing to day-to-day buying activities in a busy production environment.

The Role

As a Temporary Buyer, you will support procurement operations to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently and delivered in line with business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Raising and managing purchase orders
Liaising with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and issue resolution
Supporting cost, quality and delivery objectives
Working closely with internal stakeholders to support production schedules
Maintaining accurate purchasing and supplier records

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role
Available to work on a PAYE temporary basis
Local to Eastbourne or within a one-hour commute
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a manufacturing or engineering environment

Working Hours & Location

37 hours per week

One day working from home per week
