Import Operator

Monday - Friday (9am - 5:15pm)

A busy freight forwarding company are searching for an Import Operator to join their team

Responsibilities:

• Manage import process from pre-alert to release
• Send invoices to UK importers prior to shipment arrivals
• Ensuring correct tarriffs are charged
• Ensure costs are entered correctly
• Obtain exchange rate from each carrier
• Liaise with suppliers internally and externally
• Book deliveries
• Handle releases on CNS and Destin8
• Ensure clearance instructions are passed to the correct team
