HR Coordinator role for an established Education Academy based in Slough

This is a FTC until March 2027

Salary: £30,286 -  £31,611

Hours: 8.00 am - 4.00 pm full time 52 weeks per year


Main Duties and Responsibilities


  • Acting as first point of contact for all HR queries, and directing to the appropriate colleague;
  • Supporting HR Advisers with employee relation matters by coordinating paperwork as directed and maintaining the ER tracker;
  • Checking absence triggers for employees and supporting academies with the absence management process;
  • Coordinating OH clinics and appointments, ensuring HR Advisers are updated with schedules and reports;
  • Drafting references and sending to the relevant Principal for completion;
  • Providing administration support for HR, payroll and recruitment, including filing, photocopying and scanning documents as directed;
  • Monitoring general HR mailboxes, filing information or passing emails to the appropriate colleague where required;
  • Taking calls and messages, and forwarding accordingly;
  • Collating data for HR reports;
  • Arranging receipt and delivery of post;
  • Ordering stationary as and when required;
  • Meeting and greeting visitors to HR;
  • Arranging facilities and refreshments for meetings and training events;
  • Updating copies of HR documents when amendments are made e.g. HRIS;
  • Entering data on to HRIS as directed;
  • Attending meetings to take minutes;
  • Remaining up to date with relevant legislation, policies and guidelines;
  • Attending related courses, updates and workshops.

General

  • Maintain confidentiality in and outside the workplace;
  • Support the implementation of academy policies;
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils;
