Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Support the preparation of VAT returns and other regulatory submissions.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the department.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial documentation and records.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide support during internal and external audits as required.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• Working towards a relevant finance qualification.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Experience in the Property industry would be advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in an accounting & finance environment.
