A dynamic and progressive firm of accountants is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to become a valued member of their expanding team. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare yearly financial reports (in accordance with FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105), interim accounts, and VAT returns
Assist with computations for both corporation and personal tax obligations
Produce relevant schedules and perform balance sheet account reconciliations
Oversee CIS filings, payroll duties, and pension scheme payments
Communicate with clients via online platforms (including Xero, QuickBooks, and Dext)
Deliver advisory input including budgeting and financial forecasting
Build and maintain trusted relationships with small business clients
Remain up to date with current UK taxation and accounting rules
Who We’re Looking For:
AAT certified or part-qualified/recently qualified ACA/ACCA
Between 2–3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
Personable, with strong communication skills and a service-driven mindset
Proficient in the use of digital accountancy systems (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
Able to work on own initiative and take responsibility
A valid driving licence is essential due to the office’s location
