We are currently seeking an HR Administrator to support recruitment, vetting and HR operations within the Counter Terrorism Policing network, focusing on data accuracy, process delivery and handling sensitive information in a secure, fast-paced environment.


Key Details:

  • Contract: Temporary – 6 months
  • Rate: £19.49 per hour (PAYE)
  • Location: West Brompton, London SW6
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday, standard office hours
  • Start: ASAP
  • Important: Candidates will be required to undergo MET Police vetting prior to starting
  • Clearance Required: CTC / NPPV2 - you will be required to undergo vetting

Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support across the HR function
  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment activity
  • Managing vetting processes from initiation to completion, including conducting data quality checks, maintaining accurate records in vetting systems, and responding to queries from applicants and hiring managers
  • Supporting talent and attraction initiatives, including recruitment events and early careers programmes
  • Processing HR documentation and ensuring records are up to date
  • Producing management information and reports
  • Responding to HR queries, including secondments and attachments
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of HR operations in a busy environment

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Previous administrative experience (HR experience desirable)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow structured processes
  • Experience handling confidential information
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to undergo CTC/NPPV2 and MET Police vetting

Desirable:

  • Previous HR or recruitment experience
  • Public sector, policing, or security background
  • Understanding of vetting processes
  • Knowledge of recruitment attraction methods
