Are you a part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant looking to gain hands-on exposure to IFRS consolidation within an international, multi-entity group?

This is an exceptional 14-month opportunity with a global energy and resources organisation offering a fantastic step up for someone eager to expand their technical accounting and reporting experience.

Working closely with an experienced Consolidation Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the preparation of group-level reporting and helping to strengthen consolidation processes across a complex, multinational structure.

The Role

As Junior Consolidation Accountant, you will support the delivery of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS standards. This is a great chance to build your technical expertise and gain exposure to group reporting, intercompany processes, and finance transformation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting preparation of quarterly and annual IFRS consolidated financial reports
  • Assisting with intercompany reconciliations and maintaining the intercompany matrix
  • Preparing standalone and consolidated statements for subsidiaries
  • Liaising with global finance teams on reporting requirements
  • Supporting audit queries and external stakeholder requests
  • Contributing to finance transformation projects, including ERP system enhancements and UAT
  • Preparing non-statutory internal reports
  • Helping maintain and develop internal controls across the consolidation process

About You

You’ll thrive here if you’re a driven, proactive accountant with strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in consolidation and IFRS reporting.

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience, including exposure to consolidation
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and IFRS
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator, well-organised, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced Excel proficiency

Desirable:

  • Experience with HFM or SAP
  • Exposure to multi-entity / multi-currency group structures
