Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager

Location: Essex (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

A leading independent professional services firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Manager to join its expanding tax team. This role offers responsibility for managing a diverse client portfolio while leading both compliance and advisory assignments.

The successful Corporate Tax Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advice, developing client relationships, and supporting the wider tax team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients
• Review complex tax computations, disclosures, and returns
• Lead advisory projects including restructures, acquisitions, and tax planning
• Act as the main point of contact for corporate tax clients
• Support the development and review of junior and senior team members
• Identify and develop advisory opportunities within the client base
• Ensure high-quality delivery and compliance across all work
• Support billing, WIP management, and portfolio profitability

About You

• ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified or equivalent
• Strong background in UK corporate tax within practice
• Experience managing client portfolios and leading advisory work
• Confident reviewing complex technical work
• Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
• Ability to mentor and develop junior staff
• Organised, proactive, and delivery-focused
