We are currently representing a leading independent planning and development consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its growing Leeds office. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team on a wide-ranging portfolio of high-profile projects across the UK.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering expert planning advice across sectors including residential, mixed-use, commercial, logistics, and regeneration developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a variety of planning applications and appeals from inception through to determination
• Providing strategic planning advice to clients and stakeholders
• Preparing planning statements, site appraisals, and supporting documentation
• Managing client relationships and attending meetings with local authorities and project teams
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to business development activities
• Keeping up to date with planning policy and legislative changes

Requirements:

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards chartership with relevant experience)
• Proven experience within a planning consultancy or local authority environment
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
• Excellent report writing and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and client-facing experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
