About the Opportunity

SWI Fencing is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong civil construction background to relocate to Australia and lead the delivery of complex, multi-site projects across NSW and the ACT.

This is not a desk-bound role—we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, and consistently delivers projects safely, on time, and within budget.

For the right UK-based candidate, we offer visa sponsorship and relocation support, making this an excellent opportunity to take your career international.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects, working across multiple sites and managing internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.

This role suits a hands-on Project Manager who is confident operating in live construction environments and can balance strong commercial outcomes with safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of projects from award to completion
  • Manage programme, budget, resources, and procurement to achieve project outcomes
  • Coordinate supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers across multiple sites
  • Proactively manage risks, variations, and project changes
  • Ensure compliance with Australian WHS legislation, SWMS, and project requirements
  • Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable delivery
  • Work closely with estimating and commercial teams to maximise performance
  • Identify and implement efficiencies across project delivery
What We’re Looking For

We are targeting high-performing Project Managers with proven experience in civil construction environments.

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience delivering civil or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in sectors such as roads, utilities, infrastructure, or non-residential construction

  • Strong commercial acumen and cost control capability
  • Solid understanding of health & safety practices (UK HSE knowledge transferable; WHS training provided)
  • Confident leader who can drive accountability on-site
  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)
  • Clean police criminal history check
Relocation & Sponsorship Support
  • Employer-sponsored visa available for eligible candidates
  • Relocation assistance provided (flights and initial support)
  • Opportunity to build a long-term career in Australia
Why Join SWI Fencing
  • Join a growing business with a strong pipeline of secured work
  • Work on diverse, large-scale projects across NSW/ACT
  • Be part of a team that values accountability, performance, and safety
