We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Human Resources Administrator to join our Head Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who is passionate about recruitment, compliance, and supporting managers to maintain the highest standards of employment practice.
This role is critical to ensuring the organisation remains compliant with:
- CQC safer recruitment requirements
- Home Office sponsorship duties
- Right to work legislation
- Employment law and HR best practice
About the Role
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will provide comprehensive HR and recruitment administration support across the organisation.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process
- Conducting right to work and visa checks
- Monitoring Home Office sponsorship compliance
- Preparing contracts, offer letters, and HR correspondence
- Maintaining accurate employee records and compliance trackers
- Processing DBS applications and reference checks
- Coordinating interviews
- Supporting managers with HR-related queries
- Ensuring all statutory and regulatory checks are completed before employment commences
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in HR administration or recruitment
- Has strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Is confident working with confidential information
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Can prioritise a busy and varied workload
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Has experience with right to work checks and compliance monitoring
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and safer recruitment
Desirable Experience
- Working in the health and social care sector
- Knowledge of UK visa and sponsorship requirements
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and safer recruitment standards
- Experience maintaining HR databases and audit records
