Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment, providing exceptional service to our patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All positions are paid, including internships, ensuring valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

Duties

• Serve drinks and refreshments to customers in a courteous and efficient manner
• Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the till system
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
• Restock supplies and ensure all beverages are prepared to quality standards
• Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
• Assist with setting up and clearing tables when necessary
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and addressing any queries or concerns promptly
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality, serving, or food safety is preferred but not mandatory; full training will be provided for suitable candidates
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
• Good time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy periods
• Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
• Friendly personality with excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
