SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 (Year 1)

We’re working with a lovely primary school in LS13 looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil on a 1:1 basis. You’ll be that steady presence in their day, helping them feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

What your day might look like:

• Supporting a Year 1 pupil with additional needs
• Helping them stay engaged with learning and routines
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Creating a calm, positive environment where they can thrive

• Experience supporting children with SEN (school or care background)
• A patient, kind, and consistent approach
• Someone who celebrates the small wins, because they matter

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
