SEND Teaching Assistant with Driving Required

We are looking for passionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team in both primary and secondary settings. This role is crucial for supporting children with additional needs and requires the ability to drive pupils between different school settings.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support pupils with complex needs throughout the school day, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Assist with personal care, sensory regulation, and other specific needs as required.
• Safely transport pupils to alternative provisions and activities, ensuring timely arrival and adherence to safety protocols.
• Encourage and support the development of independence, effective communication, and social skills among pupils.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable car.
• Experience in supporting SEND pupils or young people in educational settings is desirable.
• A calm, flexible, and proactive attitude to adapt to the varying needs of pupils.
• Must have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
