Early Years Practitioner – Islington, London N1

Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour | £29,000 per year (depending on hours, qualifications, and experience)

Hours: 40 hours over 4 or 5 days | Shifts between 7:30am–6:30pm

Contract: Permanent | All year round

Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for all children
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
• Supervise children during play, meals, and rest times
• Support personal care routines, including nappies and toileting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment
• Communicate effectively with parents about children’s progress

About You

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner or similar childcare role
• Strong commitment to outdoor learning and inclusive practice
• Excellent communication skills with parents and carers
• Passionate about early years education and development
• Eligible to work in the UK
