A UK-based Regulator are searching for a Legal Director of Enforcement to join their growing team. Based in London on a hybrid basis, you will have the chance to lead a strong multidisciplinary team supervising major investigations and proceedings, providing strategic direction, and shaping effectiveness of the organisation moving forward.

Description


This is a leadership position within an established Enforcement Division, with responsibility for overseeing and directing complex, high-profile casework. You will lead and supervise a portfolio of major investigations and proceedings, providing strategic direction, and support to multidisciplinary teams.

  • Setting and driving case strategy across high-risk, high-profile matters
  • Leading preparations for tribunal
  • Advising on all manner of legal, policy, and risk matters related to enforcement
  • Overseeing case budgets
  • Instructing and managing external counsel
  • Managing and developing internal legal and finance professionals


Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with substantial experience in contentious regulatory work, white-collar crime, or complex commercial litigation.

  • 10+ PQE
  • Experience leading or managing a team
  • Excellent project / case management
  • Ability to commute into London on a hybrid basis
  • Experience gained within, or acting for, a regulator, prosecuting authority, or disciplinary body is desirable
