About the Role

Exceptional opportunity to step up into a senior finance role with a growing London Market insurer. Work directly with the Finance Director and engage with C-suite stakeholders across the group, driving financial planning, modelling, and strategic analysis. This role offers genuine exposure to senior decision-making, board-level reporting, and the opportunity to shape financial strategy across a dynamic, multi-entity business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting rolling forecasts, board reporting, and capital management
  • Represent Finance in senior management forums and contribute to strategic business goals
  • Prepare executive reporting packs, KPI dashboards, and board presentations for Group and subsidiary boards
  • Lead staff cost budgeting, forecasting, and remuneration cycle modelling including scenario analysis
  • Produce headcount reporting for senior leadership and Remuneration Committee
  • Review management accounts, variance analysis, and provide commentary for Executive Committee
  • Support capital modelling and financial management of underwriting vehicles
  • Drive optimization of data flows and technology-enabled finance workflows
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Expert-level financial modelling capability with ability to build complex strategic models
  • Direct experience working within the London insurance market
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset
  • Commercial acumen with ability to communicate effectively with C-suite stakeholders
  • Understanding of FCA, Lloyd's, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Self-starter with tenacity, resilience, and results focus
