Admin Assistant (Adults & Communities)

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across Adult & Community services on a county-wide basis. This role plays a key part in delivering a responsive, high-quality service to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative and office support across multiple teams
  • Manage inboxes, correspondence, filing systems, and data entry tasks
  • Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and coordinate training events
  • Support reception duties, handle enquiries, and assist visitors
  • Process invoices, orders, and manage office supplies
  • Maintain accurate records, performance data, and KPI reporting
  • Support managers with operational tasks and service delivery
  • Assist with Health & Safety processes and general site administration
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Confident IT user with experience of Microsoft Office and data systems
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Experience arranging meetings and producing accurate minutes
  • Good understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and data protection
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team
