Assistant Financial Controller

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Assistant Financial Controller to join our growing finance team. This is a key role supporting the Finance Director and contributing to a newly formed Senior Leadership Team, offering real influence and progression in a fast-paced business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing day-to-day finance operations (AP/AR, reconciliations, payment runs)
• Credit control and customer/supplier account management
• Supporting monthly reporting and financial analysis
• Maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls
• Liaising across teams to resolve queries and improve processes
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to strategic discussions

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years’ finance experience (with some supervisory exposure)
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
• Confident with Excel and finance systems
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Desirable:

• Industry experience and commercial awareness
