Payroll Administrator

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week (full-time, office-based).
Part-time applications will be considered.

Role Overview:
I am seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team based in Goole. This role involves managing payroll processes end-to-end, supporting clients, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while working to strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll from gross to net
  • Submitting payroll information to HMRC in a timely and accurate manner
  • Calculating statutory payments (including SSP, SMP, etc.)
  • Managing BACS transmissions
  • Preparing and issuing P45s and P60s
  • Liaising directly with clients to handle queries and provide support
  • Resolving payroll-related issues efficiently
  • Supporting the wider team with general payroll duties
  • Ensuring all work is completed within tight deadlines

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in a payroll role
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes and associated tasks
  • Knowledge of Auto Enrolment
  • Good IT skills and confidence using payroll systems
