Management Accountant

Creative Agency | Central London (Hybrid, 2 days in the office) | 50k - 65k | 3 month temporary assignment

A well-established independent creative studio is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the business on an initial 3-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to support a busy and fast paced creative business during a key period of growth and operational change, with strong long term potential for the right person.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Month-end reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
• Variance analysis with clear financial commentary
• Monitoring project profitability, WIP and revenue reporting
• Supporting senior stakeholders with financial insights
• VAT returns and general finance support
• Assisting with process improvements and finance clean-up projects
• Supporting year-end and audit preparation where required

About you:

• Previous experience in a management accountant, finance manager or similar role within a creative agency
• Immediately available or available on short notice
• Strong Excel skills and experience using finance systems (Paprika experience would be a huge plus)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and manage deadlines effectively
• Ability to work closely with non-finance teams at all levels of seniority and communicate complex financial information in a clear and commercially meaningful way
