About the Role

Brightstone Education Partners is supporting a warm and welcoming nursery setting in the Thatcham / West Berkshire area to recruit a passionate and nurturing Level 3 Nursery Practitioner.

The nursery provides a caring, stimulating, and child-centred environment where children are encouraged to learn through play, exploration, and creativity.

This well-established nursery operates 51 weeks per year and forms part of a highly regarded independent educational environment with a long-standing reputation for excellence in early years and preparatory education.

Set within beautiful woodland and open outdoor spaces, the nursery places a strong emphasis on:

The overall aim is to provide children with a happy, nurturing, and inspiring start to school life while fostering kindness, confidence, and positive relationships with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the learning and development of children within the Early Years setting
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitor and support children’s progress and wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
  • Maintain safeguarding and health & safety standards at all times
Candidate RequirementsDesirable Qualifications
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification, or
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience
  • Strong nursery or early years experience is essential
  • Unqualified applicants may still be considered if they have significant nursery experience
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Caring, proactive, and reliable approach
