Junior Electronics Engineer

Location: Surrey

Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience)

Reed Engineering are currently supporting a leading electronics manufacturer in the Surrey area who are looking to recruit a Junior Electronics Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience across the full product development lifecycle in a supportive and innovative environment.

The Role

• Support schematic capture and PCB layout, taking designs from concept through to production
• Contribute to all stages of the product development lifecycle
• Work closely with senior engineers to develop your technical skillset
• Carry out testing and debugging of hardware and embedded systems
• Assist in the design and development of embedded firmware

About You

• Degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Understanding of basic electronics design and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters etc.)
• Exposure to microcontrollers (e.g. PIC, ESP, Nordic or similar)
• Familiarity with Arduino or similar development environments
• Knowledge of embedded C programming
• Motivated, proactive and keen to develop within a hands-on engineering environment
