Dental Laboratory Receptionist / Administrator

A well-established dental laboratory based in Central London is currently seeking an organised and professional Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous reception or administrative experience who is looking to build a long-term career within the dental industry. Previous dental laboratory experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. Candidates with dental nursing, healthcare administration, or customer service experience are encouraged to apply.

This position may also suit a Dental Technician who would prefer an office-based role rather than hands-on laboratory work.

Please note: This is a full-time position and previous reception experience is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and packaging dental appliances for postage and local deliveries
  • Managing invoices, paperwork, and administrative records
  • Answering incoming calls and handling customer enquiries professionally
  • Liaising with dental practices and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Processing invoices and chasing outstanding payments
  • Using laboratory management software (LabTrac)
  • Supporting bookkeeping and general office administration
  • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
  • Delivering packages to nearby dental practices when required
  • Organising lab paperwork, dockets, and filing systems
  • Assisting with compliance logs and documentation
  • Booking courier services including DPD, Gophr, and Uber
  • Ordering office and laboratory supplies
  • Managing Outlook calendars and assisting with website updates
  • Supporting day-to-day operations within a busy dental laboratory
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous reception or administrative experience
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional, proactive, and reliable attitude
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
