Trainee Accountant / Trainee Management Accountant Up to £35,000 Study Support

We are working with a large, well-established business based in North London that is looking to add a Trainee Accountant to its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or finance graduate who wants to develop their management accounts experience and progress their career in a supportive environment.

The Role

As a Trainee Accountant you will work closely with an experienced finance team and gain broad exposure to the full management accounts process. Day to day responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting monthly P&L reviews including gross profit and overhead analysis
• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Carrying out bank and intercompany reconciliations
• Raising invoices and posting journals
• Supporting the monthly financial close process
• Assisting with year-end audit preparation and budgetary tasks

What We Are Looking For

• Part-qualified or actively studying towards an accounting qualification
• Some exposure to finance or accounting in a professional environment
• Good Excel skills
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• A self-starter who can manage deadlines and take ownership of tasks
• Keen to develop a long-term career in management accounting
