Candidate Requirements:

· Ideally have some experience in paraplanning, or experience in Financial Services

· Possess sound technical knowledge in pensions, investments, tax and general financial planning

· Proficient with financial planning software, notably FE Analytics, Voyant, O&M Pension Profiler, Asset Adviser, Cash calc etc.

· Motivated with a genuine interest in Financial Services, ESG awareness would be desirable

· Possess a high level of accuracy, especially in writing reports

· Comfortable managing multiple tasks simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines

· Exceptional attention to detail, confident working in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills

· Friendly, professional and client focused


Role:

It’s rare to find superb benefits in a smaller, supportive IFA firm however, our client values employees and, as a result, has excellent staff retention. Due to progression (there’s opportunities too), they have a requirement for a Paraplanner, to join their small and friendly team.


Ideally, you will be a Diploma qualified and experienced Paraplanner however, candidates with some experience within Financial Services will be considered. Support to achieve DipPFS is available, with future progression into advice, for the right individual (if desired).


This is an environment where you’ll be looked after. Where clients’ interests genuinely matter and they are treated as they should be.


You’ll work out of fabulous rural offices, located near Richmond, with an element of flexibility to occasionally work from home.

Responsibilities will include:-

• Paraplanning and administrative support, as required

• Create comprehensive and compliant suitability reports

• Use research tools to analyse data and provide solutions to meet clients’ needs and objectives

• Work collaboratively with the team to support client outcomes

• Build and maintain relationships with clients

• Liaise with providers to obtain information



Qualifications:

· Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS or equivalent) is desirable, not essential
