School Caretaker -

Location: Across multiple school sites
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a supportive school environment on a full-time, long-term basis. This role will be based across multiple sites, requiring flexibility and a strong work ethic to ensure all facilities are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Opening and closing school buildings and ensuring site security
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and basic DIY tasks
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the school premises
• Conducting regular health & safety checks and risk assessments
• Supporting with site set-up for events and daily school operations
• Liaising with contractors and external services when required

Requirements

• Previous experience working within a school
• Strong practical skills in maintenance and general repairs
• Ability to work independently across different sites
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
