We are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to join a busy workshop environment. This is a hands-on role working with a variety of materials to produce high-quality bespoke joinery items, ensuring all work meets required specifications and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture bespoke joinery items from technical drawings
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Assemble, finish and quality check products
• Work with a range of materials including solid wood, MDF and laminates
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work collaboratively with the wider production team

Requirements:

• Proven minimum 5years experience as a Bench Joiner or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Skilled in the use of woodworking machinery and tools
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Good understanding of health & safety practices
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience in bespoke or high-end joinery
• NVQ/Apprenticeship in Carpentry & Joinery
