Logistics Coordinator – Temp to POSSIBLE Perm Opportunity

Location: Birmingham Business Park

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Elite Personnel are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and fast-paced operation based at Birmingham Business Park.

This is a 12-week temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills who enjoys working in a dynamic logistics environment.

The Role:

You will be responsible for coordinating drivers, handling incoming calls, and supporting the team with a high volume of administrative tasks as they work through an existing backlog.

Key Duties:

• Taking and managing a high volume of inbound calls
• Coordinating and organising drivers for deliveries and transport schedules
• Processing and updating administrative paperwork and systems
• Supporting the team in clearing a backlog of work
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within a fast-paced environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Confident communication skills (both phone and email)
• Logistics or transport experience preferred (but not essential)
• A proactive, can-do attitude

Hours & Progression:

• Initial hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm
• After 12 weeks: flexibility required to work between 6:00am – 6:00pm (shift-based)
