Job Title: General Manager – CNC Machine Shop

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our CNC machine shop. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, and a proven track record in managing production, quality, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the 9 CNC machine shop to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, machinists, and support staff
• Plan and optimize production schedules to meet customer deadlines
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Monitor machine performance, maintenance schedules, and equipment utilization
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Manage budgets, cost control, and resource allocation
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, and design teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in CNC machining or manufacturing operations
• Minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Experience in high-precision or high-volume manufacturing environments
• Strong financial and business acumen
