AtkinsClarke are exclusively supporting a large, national, purpose-led organisation with the appointment of a Senior Credit Controller to join their operational finance team.
This is a newly created role, designed to take ownership of a complex and high-value Local Authority and social funding ledger. You will play a key role in improving cash collection, strengthening processes and supporting the organisation during a period of positive change and investment in systems.
This is not a routine credit control position — it’s an opportunity to take real ownership, drive improvement and make a meaningful impact.

As Senior Credit Controller, you will take ownership of a large and complex Local Authority and social funding ledger, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve collection performance and reduce aged debt.
You will also play an important role in mentoring a junior team member and contributing to wider process improvements across the function.

You will bring:
Experience working with Local Authorities, NHS or within a care / not-for-profit environment would be highly advantageous, but strong commercial candidates with the right mindset and motivation will also be considered.
